Redirect Checker.

See every hop in a redirect chain, including leftover http and a switch between www and the bare domain.

Follow one URL to the end.

One redirect is normal. A longer chain is a common leftover after a migration. For a written plan before you move a store, order the Migration Assessment.

Frequently asked questions.

01How many redirects is too many?

One hop is normal: http to https, or an old URL to a new one. More than one hop adds delay and is a common leftover after a migration.

02Why does www matter?

www.example.com and example.com are different hostnames. If the chain switches between them, pick one and keep it. Mixed hosts split signals and can loop.

03Does this check the whole site?

No. It follows the single URL you enter, up to eight hops. It does not crawl the rest of the shop.
